There is an epidemic of loneliness in the United States and lacking connection can increase the risk for premature death to levels comparable to smoking 15 cigarettes a day! Its no surprise that Jesus brings up three friends in our scripture reading today. In Luke 11 he shares a parable about three friends and we find out the importance of having the right people in our lives which reveals a deeper meaning about faith with God.
